Bart Moves In by Gulliver63 Bart Moves In by Gulliver63
"Do you mind if I crash in there?" asked Bart as he pointed to the dollhouse.
"I guess not. You can move into the upstairs bedroom. But make yourself scarce - this afternoon I'm having friends over." Lisa then pointed to the toy wind-up car. "And I don't want to see that car on blocks in front of the house."

Yet another chapter in the life of the shrunken Bart Simpson; Lisa's experiment, which was meant to strip off a few extra pounds, got rid of much more than that.

The Simpsons are the property of Matt Groening.

Cool! ^^ Wish they'd do that on the real show though. That would be awesome.

I wish that Lisa would wear flip-flops; when I did the Simpsons in the Brobdingnag universe, I had her wear them.

Well, at least she wears sandals. Not exactly flip-flops but close enough, right? :P

Sure. I don't know if I've seen those, except when she's at the beach. I've got a comic cover with her wearing them. She wears them in my Universe 1 Simpsons www.simpworks.com/forums/downl…

Well, I'm speaking mainly of the red sandals she normally wears along with her red dress. Those are sandals, are they not? ^^

Oh, yes...I'll have to go through some of those old episodes.

Ok, I recognise most of the characters, and you've been kind enough to explain your process before. Who's the blonde behind Bart though?

That would be Lisa's doll, Malibu Stacy. She's in her cheerleader outfit from "Treehouse of Horror III" when a toy Krusty the Clown moves into the dollhouse with her. Good question.

Ah thanks. I watch the show sometimes, but will probably never see every episode short of someone giving me a metric tonne of DVDs!

It was interesting when I started watching the first few seasons...I remember them from the Tracy Ulman show in the late 1980's, but I was working 75 hours a week when the show got started up in 89 and don't remember those early seasons.

You know it's funny, I was about to suggest something involving Lisa's dolls or doll house then you drew this. Funny thing is if memory serves there was a little tiny Lego suitcase that opened and closed, I wonder if that's what Bart's using there.

I wonder what will happen to Bart when Lisa's friends arrive. :D

Sherri: Dress up time Bart! ;)

If I did another one, it would probably involve one of those old toy robots we used to play with years ago.

So I'm guessing you're not talking about Transformers then, hmm.

Transformers didn't come along until I was in college. When I was a kid we had those battery operated robots.

Yet me guess, they didn't come with any batteries?

Funnily enough although the concept of the walking robot has been around for a while, by which I mean decades, it's taken until maybe the last few years to actually make a real full size one that can walk up and down stairs or a slight incline without falling over.

Turns out walking is harder than it looks.

Amazing! The movements reminded me a bit of Huey, Duey and Louie from Silent Running www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8ISui… . Your video makes me wish I spoke more than just a few words of Japanese. I didn't know whether to be creeped out or amazed by the voice.

Thanks! That was a last minute add-on. With a tiny bottle of liquor, no less. I chuckled because they had them on the show that time.
