Cancellation by Gulliver63 Cancellation by Gulliver63
Yesterday, as I found out the news of Futurama's cancellation, this image popped into my mind - Spock in "Star Trek V" saying, "I've been dead before." Ironic that I would use this, as Star Trek should have been dead and buried nearly 40 years ago. This looks like the end, but as the picture points out, they've been dead before...

BTW, the background photo was shot in Century City, Los Angeles, in 2010. The buildings are very near the Fox building, and can be found on the Yes album cover of "Going For The One."

Futurama characters are the property of Matt Groening.
Spock and Star Trek are the property of Paramount Pictures.

Futurama and Star Trek are similiar in this situation, are great but not as appreciated (star trek if it was some time ago but never much truth Futurama), so the die had canceled ,but are so large that they return for a little more continuously.

Star Trek really just never died and faded away; I became a fan in 1972, and it's really been around all this time.

This makes Moonlit a very sad panda.:(

It makes a lot of us sad, but I'm crossing my fingers for either an animated movie or a live action movie someday.

I'm not too fond of the idea of a Live Action Futurama movie.:(

Oh, I'd love to see it tried...especially after they've done Gollum and different ones...
