Edna of the Empire

The bell rang. "Don't forget kids...next week General Chang is going to visit our class and tell us what it takes to be a good Klingon." As Bart started to leave the room, Edna stopped him. "Not you, Bart.
     She spoke to him sternly. "Bart, I've known your family for quite some time. Your father is a safety officer in a dilithium reactor. Your mother has served the Empire faithfully for years. Your sister makes such good marks that she may have her own starship command someday. But then there's you."
     She continued. "I had such high hopes for you. I had hoped that you would be a mighty Klingon warrior...that maybe someday you would plunge a dagger into the heart of Kirk himself. Judging by your behavior in this classroom, you'll probably end up in the mines of Rura Penthe with the aliens and outcasts..."

     This picture needs an explanation. I was merely going to do some fashion sketches of Edna Krabappel yesterday and thought, "Have we ever seen her as a Klingon?" If I've ripped someone off of that idea, I apologize in advance. Boy, what a tough teacher she'd make! Teaching everything from Earth history to how disruptor weapons work.

     Principal Skinner met up with Edna in the hallway. "Uh, Edna, you hit me pretty good the other day. Am I to take that as an invitation to a mating ritual?"
     She then slammed him against the wall forcefully, grinning.
     "Uh, I take that as a yes."
