"Wake up Fry...you must have fallen asleep." Well, here's another Frank Frazetta, this one based on his Thuvia, Princess of Mars farm3.static.flickr.com/2209/3… . When I do one of these, I gain a whole new appreciation of how great Frazetta actually was.
I've said that every project has a story, and this one is no different. As I was nearing completion, a friend of my daughter came in with chips and guacamole for me; she left it for me, and I was so wrapped up in the project that I didn't know she was even there (John McLaughlin's "Birds of Fire" was blaring in the background). I guess I really get into my projects. After the main part of the project was over, I painted the background separately on a piece of canvas painting paper and added them in Corel. I also listened to Yes' "Going for the One" on this project www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3fQ1w…

Wow, i love Frazetta and this is a fantastic and cool crossover art. I like how you kept that same orangey warmth with the background and overall tone.
