Little Women by Gulliver63 Little Women by Gulliver63
Marge grasped her needle like a saber. "That's a good idea, Lois - you can write a help note while we get the thread ready; we'll be off this table in no time...uh oh..."

Here again is the merger of three cartoon worlds. This was a fairly easy picture to do, but complex in that it had to be pieced together in several stages. It went well, but it was made even better due to some ideas and sketches from my friend Kaspired kaspired.deviantart.com/ who wrote me late last night - he came up with the idea of a distorted perspective of Lois, perfect because she's viewed in a magnifying glass. All that was left to do was to put some Corel effects on the glass surface. Here's one of the three sketches Kaspired sent me kaspired.deviantart.com/art/Ti…

"Shmeesh," Amy noted, "he gives me the creeps. What do you think he wants?"

It's fun figuring out the outfits they wear...

Terrific!  I love Lois' expression and the shape of the pencil.

Now, could we move the magnifying glass over Amy? :)  (Just kidding.)

I wish you could see the sketches that Kaspired sent me of Lois - I hope he posts those somewhere. Yeah, Amy's kind of fun...sort of looks like she's on a beach somewhere.

I don't think I quite got the perspective you had, but I think it worked. It's sort of like looking at someone through a peephole. I saw your "pole" that you had in the drawing, and really wanted to use that - the idea of her writing a help note with a pencil enabled me to use that idea. It would be fun to compare the drawings now.

What a sight. Three small women on a table, trying to message someone... Professor, I think.
