Marge Sketchdump 1

Out of all the sketchdumps I've done, I don't think I've posted one of Marge Simpson. As you can tell by the commentary on one of them, I've spent a lot of time getting my car fixed (Bill, our main garage guy, is getting to be like a member of the family). Marge has a most interesting face for a cartoon character, and it can show a wide range of emotions.

     As you can see here, there are many ideas in my sketchbook that don't quite make it. For my Simpsons Dune project The Dune Simpsons, I kicked around the idea of having Mr. Burns as the God-Emperor, and also here as the Baron; the Baron concept is really comical, as the character it's based on weighs about 500 pounds, and Monty here is just a bag of bones. If I could have done it as a show idea, you would hear the beeping of a truck in reverse every time he backed up. Even though I didn't use the idea, I still wanted to share it.
