Scary Enough?

Every piece has its story, and this one does as well. The idea for slamming "Beetlejuice" and "The Simpsons" together hit me last Thursday at around 5:30 in the morning as I was starting my shift. My first idea didn't make sense, as it would have put Marge into the place of Beetlejuice, but it made me laugh when I thought of it. This was the original idea that I sketched out gulliver63.tumblr.com/image/11…  The idea that hit me was that the Simpsons were trying their best to get the Griffins out of their house. In this scene, they made the mistake of asking how scary Beetlejuice actually was - the scary/qualification scene is one of my favorites from any movie. This was one of the most satisfying, but one of the most complicated pieces that I've done in a while, consisting of several layers that had to fit well together. Throw in a scanner that decided not to work on me, but I got it scanned.
