The Marge Signal

Marge gazed up at the light in the sky as she lowered the grocery cart to the ground. "It's Johnnie Barracuda and the Blue Triangle gang I'll wager - the police already have their hands full." She then turned to her husband. "Homer - give Maggie a bath and feed her. Kids, do you homework. Bart, be nice to your sister."
     Lisa looked up in worry. "Mom, it's so scary when you do this."
     Marge smiled as she gave the blonde a tussle of her hair. "These guys aren't even a challenge...I'll be back before you know it."
     The Simpson family watched in wonder as Marge ran down the street toward the downtown; they saw her turn in to a blur and quickly disappear.
     Homer looked at his kids. "Huh...I guess we'll see your mother on the news again tonight."

     This is quickly turning into a series; it started with gulliver63.deviantart.com/art/… and gulliver63.deviantart.com/art/… . I got such a kick out of watching the "Strong Ma" episode that the whole thing got out of hand. Now Mayor Quimby and Chief Wiggum have their own "Marge light." They know that not long after firing that sucker up that they'll see that blur of blue hair and bad guys being tossed around in the air.

     Not long after defeating an entire evil gang of ruffians, Marge came back home. "Bart...did you brush your teeth? Are you sure?"
