Universe 1 by Gulliver63 Universe 1 by Gulliver63
"Theoretically," Professor Frink continued, "there could be thousands of parallel universes, some very much like this one."

Everything went just fine until Marge Simpson returned to her house...

I love combining two storylines into one...this was actually a scene from the Futurama episode "Farnsworth's Parabox," where Leela ran into her counterpart. Both shows have professors...mad ones at that...

Notice that Homer in this universe still has most of his hair, and straight-A student Bart is off to study up on a physics final. Marge in Universe 1 is rarely seen without a Duff in her hand.

I finally wrote the story at www.simpworks.com/forums/compl…

The Simpsons and Futurama are copyright Matt Groening.

Well, it would certainly take more than a coinflip outcome being different to make Homer keep his hair, so apparently that's not what distinguishes the 2 universes there.

The story was funny...Homer is a neat freak and a housedad, and Marge wants her beer when she gets back from the nuclear plant. www.simpworks.com/forums/compl…

All we need now is for Maggie to come in and say "This is indeed a disturbing universe." in a improbably deep voice.

Faved.

When I did the color study for these guys, I had Maggie wearing a pink outfit - it looked totally natural. It would be funny to have her do a Rod Serling in some picture, and start narrating from the sideline.

Perhaps although they made almost every other type of reference to it over the years, just look what comes up if you type Twilight Zone into the search over at the Simpsponswiki.

To many to name, although I knew they'd done a lot over the years, just not quite how many.

That, and I saw a TZ reference in a comic book, where they see the gremlin outside of the window of an airliner.

Oh yeah, they actually did that one as well, it's called Terror at five and a half feet, they had the Gremlin on the side of the bus which lead to one of my favourite Han's Moleman jokes. Otto thinks Bart is talking about Moleman's AMC Gremlin then he rams the bus into it then this happened.

I just love the way it stops safely, THEN it explodes.

A Gremlin! Check out my fan comic, where Morgan Proctor's admin drives a futuristic AMC Pacer [link]

Man, what a shit car, no wonder Hans Moleman would be driving it. This BTW is now considered child and animal cruelty.

Yes, but you've got to remember that I thought that car was the shiznit when my neighor got one in 1971. My first car was a 1976 Hornet, "Crest Toothpaste" green - that thing ran and ran, and I had it for years. Good memories in that car. My first car was almost a yellow AMC Pacer, but the deal fell through.
